Pedal Prior

Discover beautiful Prior Lake and Scott County as you pedal your way through quaint towns, picturesque lakes, and rolling farmland. Pedal Prior has something for everyone! Our family-friendly 11-mile ride is on sidewalks and trails, taking you to a beautiful local park. For the more advanced riders, our 40- and 69-mile routes head south through scenic towns and farms to our energetic rest stops that will fuel your body and soul to the finish line where you can vote for your favorite one.  New in 2023 will be a gravel route for those who like a little dirt under their tires! We also have a free bike rodeo for kids 8 and under to learn basic bike skills and safety in the parking lot next to the registration pavilion.

All rides begin and end at the Lakefront Park where you can relax and be proud of your accomplishment, enjoy some goodies from the Prior Lake Farmers Market on Main Street, and the kids can have fun on the playground, with plenty of space to run and play, and an area for the little ones to ride their bikes and work on their skills too! But the excitement doesn’t stop there.

For a second year Pedal Prior is part of the River, Lakes and Fields (RLF) bike series. Ride in all 3 and get special swag and a chance to win cash prizes! To learn more and register check out bridgethevalley.org and northfieldrotary.org.

Visit the Prior Lake Farmers Market on Main Street from 8 a.m.-noon for some fresh local produce, baked goods, ice cream, live music and more.
