Rock and Rockets 4th of July Celebration at Mystic Lake

Rock and Rockets is a free 4th of July celebration featuring music, food and drinks and fireworks. The event is returning to Mystic Lake Casino Hotel 5-10:30 p.m. on July 4th. This outdoor festival includes free concerts by Gin Blossoms and Lit in the Mystic Amphitheater. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from a variety of local food trucks. Guests can bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concerts and fireworks display.

Gin Blossoms
Gin Blossoms rose to stardom in the 90s with their chart-topping album “New Miserable Experience.” Known for their catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics and guitar-driven sound, Gin Blossoms captivate audiences with a timeless blend of power-pop and alternative rock. Lit

Food trucks:  Ben & Jerry’s, Da’ Lemon, Kenny’s Meatball Wagon, ODB’s Meat and Greet, OHM (Original Hockey Moms) Brownies, Pharaoh’s Gyros, Sumo & Smoh, Thai Thai Street Food, Trickster Tacos, and West Indies Soul Food.

Beverages: Beverage tents will offer ice-cold drinks including beer, cocktails, pop and water.

Details: This festival with free admission is open to all ages; guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Guests must be 18 to gamble and 21 to purchase or consume alcohol; identification is required.
