Kirsten Otting, a hobby photographer in Lakeville, was on her way to a nearby park in October 2022 when she saw the fog settling on Lake Marion and quickly snapped this image. “Through photography, I am able to be more present and aware of so many details in the world around me,” Otting says. “This image is just one example of the moments that others might blink and miss.”
